By registering as a volunteer under the EDMS network, you are dedicating your time and skills for official disaster response under the authority of the local government unit (LGU).
1. Mandatory Verification
- To ensure the safety of evacuees, all volunteers must submit a valid Government ID and a Background Clearance (Barangay, Police, or NBI).
- Submission of forged documents will result in immediate blacklisting and reporting to local authorities.
2. Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173)
- Your personal information and uploaded documents are encrypted and accessible only to authorized LDRRMO Administrators.
- Your data is used solely to verify your identity and contact you for volunteer deployment during crises.
3. Liability Waiver
- You acknowledge that volunteering during a disaster carries inherent risks. You agree to follow all instructions from the Incident Commander and BDRRMO.
- Registration as a volunteer does not establish an employer-employee relationship with the LGU.
